Not Fight the Water. The low, rounded shell lets the Scuba 800 slip through the water instead of pushing against it. Less drag means less battery spent on moving and more on cleaning. Two brushes on the bottom loosen dirt while dual-drive motors pull it into the 2 liter tray at 1,320 gallons per hour.

Only if the floor is flat. The Scuba 800 is built for above-ground pools and flat-bottom in-ground pools with no slopes or deep-end transitions. It does not climb walls. For a sloped in-ground pool, look at the Aiper Scuba S1 Pro or X1 series.

No. The Scuba 800 cleans the pool floor only. It has no wall-climbing drive. That keeps it light and inexpensive, which is the point for an above-ground pool.

The Scuba 800 robot, a DC charger, a retrieval hook, and two replacement brushes. There is no app, no charging dock, and no caddy, none of which the Scuba 800 uses.

When the cycle ends or the battery runs low, the robot beeps and parks at the nearest wall. Reach it with the included hook, lift, and let it drain. The purge system releases 80% of the water in about 15 seconds, so at 7.5 lbs it comes out with one hand.

Between 1.6 and 10 feet. That covers every standard above-ground pool and most flat-floor in-ground pools.

Two-second beeps with pauses mean low battery and the robot is heading to the wall. One-second beeps mean the impeller is jammed. Five-second beeps mean water has gotten inside and it needs to come out now. Each pattern repeats for about five minutes.
