Is the Aladdin 908A the correct sandpaper for the Super Sander 908?

Yes, the 908A sheets are the factory-matched abrasive sheets for the Super Sander 908. The clamping surface aligns with the tool’s plate for even sanding. This ensures consistent contact during service work.

Can 908A sandpaper be used on plaster, concrete, and tile?

The silicone-carbide abrasive performs well on plaster, tile, and concrete surfaces commonly found in pools. Its 100-grit texture removes material efficiently for cleaning or surface prep. This makes it suitable for service professionals handling multiple surface types.

Will these sheets hold up during wet or submerged sanding?

Yes, the waterproof construction resists breakdown during wet sanding tasks. This allows technicians to work on damp or constantly rinsed surfaces. The durability is ideal when planning multi-step refinishing jobs.

Installation and Sanding Technique

Wholesale Pool Mart customers often prepare materials before coordinating service work. This section covers sheet installation, grit behavior, and sanding consistency.

How do I attach a 908A sheet to the Super Sander 908?

Slide the sheet under the sander’s clamp, align it with the plate, and tighten the retaining mechanism. This provides a stable grip for even sanding. Local service professionals prefer the secure fit for larger refinishing areas.

What is the sanding performance of 100-grit on plaster?

It offers a blend of moderate aggressiveness and smooth finishing. It removes stains and rough patches while leaving a clean, prepped surface for coatings or further sanding. This makes it a versatile grit for initial smoothing.

How quickly will a sheet wear during service work?

Wear depends on pressure, surface hardness, and moisture. The silicone-carbide material offers above-average durability, making one sheet suitable for several moderate areas. Technicians often bring multiple 4-packs when bidding or scheduling repairs.
