Technology Automatic pool chemistry
Chlorine Comes Out.
Automatically. You add pool-grade salt once. The Evolve’s salt cell converts it into fresh chlorine continuously as water flows through. When chlorine does its job, it converts back to salt — and the cycle starts again. No jugs. No tabs. No guesswork.
- Converts salt into chlorine on-demand, continuously
- Fresh chlorine — not stored or degraded
- Salt recycles — top up occasionally, not constantly
- No chemicals to handle, store, or measure
You Don’t Have To. Most salt systems only monitor flow. The Evolve’s Tri-Sensor Technology reads three live data points simultaneously — water flow, salt concentration, and temperature — then automatically adjusts chlorine output to keep your water perfectly balanced, every hour of every day.
Better by Design. AutoPilot has engineered salt chlorination since the 1970s — longer than most names in the category. Here’s what sets the Evolve apart.
Choose the CPB0006A for pools up to 30,000 gallons and the CPB0007A for pools up to 40,000 gallons. When in doubt, size up — a unit sized at or slightly above your pool volume will run more efficiently and maintain better chlorine output. The CPB0007A also includes PoolSync WiFi connectivity, while on the CPB0006A the PoolSync module is optional and sold separately.
Both models are complete systems. The CPB0006A includes the Evolve controller, power center, and PPM1 manifold and cell assembly. The CPB0007A includes the Evolve smart power center, PPM3 vertical bypass manifold, and salt cell. In both cases, everything needed for installation is in the box — just add pool-grade salt and install.
No. The Evolve generates all the chlorine your pool needs from the salt in the water. You simply keep the salt level in the recommended range by topping it up as needed — far less often than refilling chlorine. No more buying, hauling, or storing liquid or tablet chlorine.
Most salt chlorine generators only monitor water flow. AutoPilot’s patented Tri-Sensor monitors flow, salt level, and water temperature simultaneously. Temperature compensation is especially important — as water warms, chlorine demand rises, and without adjustment the system either over-produces (shortening cell life) or under-produces (leaving the pool under-sanitised). The Evolve adjusts automatically.
Yes. The Evolve operates from 15 to 100 GPM — low enough to work with variable-speed pumps running at economy speeds where many competitors stall or fail to activate. The Tri-Sensor flow monitoring ensures the cell only runs when flow is safe and adequate.
Yes. Salt-generated chlorine is produced fresh continuously in lower concentrations rather than being added in large doses. Most swimmers notice significantly less eye irritation, skin dryness, and fabric bleaching compared to traditionally chlorinated pools. The water feels notably softer and more natural — often described as similar to a gentle spring.
