- Chlorine Neutralizer (1/2oz/15mil)
- Total Alkalinity Test (1/2oz/15mil)
- If you test the ph and notice that the color of the water turns to a purplish shade, that means that the ph level is high, indicating that you would need to put liquid or dry acid to lower the ph level.
- If you test the ph and notice that the color of the water turns to a orangish shade of color, then that means that the ph is low and you would need to add soda ash to raise it to the "ideal" range.
- If you test the chlorine/bromine and notice that there is no color to the tube, or it is a very light shade of yellow, that means that the level is low and you would need to add chlorine or bromine to raise it to its ideal range
- If you test the chlorine/bromine and notice that it is a bright yellow color, or sometimes when its very high it turns almost to an orange color, that means the level is very high and you would need to wait for it to get lower before swimming. Evaporation helps with the chlorine or bromine level getting lower.
