Replace worn laterals and get even filtering back. The Hayward SX244DAS is a 24 in. folding (umbrella) lateral assembly with center pipe for Hayward Pro Series 24 in. sand filters. The laterals fold for easy installation through the tank opening, then spread to evenly collect filtered water while keeping sand in the tank. This is the current assembly that replaces the older SX244DA. Genuine Hayward part.

What It Is For

  • Collects filtered water evenly and keeps sand out of the return line.

How to Use It

  • Remove the old lateral assembly and empty the sand from the tank.
  • Install the SX244DAS, add the correct sand charge, and reassemble per the Hayward instructions.
