Field Performance and Service Impact
These FAQs address real-world service conditions.
Why do IntelliFlo3 seals wear faster than traditional pump seals?
Higher operating speeds and longer daily run times increase friction and thermal stress at the seal faces.
Is seal replacement recommended after a major leak?
Yes, once a leak is present, replacing the seal promptly helps prevent motor damage and downtime.
What checks should be done after installing the new seal?
Technicians typically confirm dry operation at all speeds and verify there is no moisture near the motor base.
