The Pentair R201276 ProVac #214 is a 14-inch lead-weighted commercial vacuum head engineered for the demands of residential concrete pool cleaning and commercial pool service where professional-grade suction performance and long-term durability are essential. The defining feature is the patented suction chamber, which concentrates vacuum velocity equally from both ends of the head and from front to back, a design choice that delivers measurably more effective debris pickup than standard vacuum heads, particularly in low-flow suction conditions where conventional heads start to lose cleaning power. Full-width flex strips along the bottom of the unit guide debris directly into the suction chamber so leaves, dirt, and fine particles aren't pushed aside during cleaning passes. Adjustable wheels allow the operator to fine-tune the vacuum head's height off the pool floor, raising or lowering suction velocity as needed for different debris loads and pool surface conditions. Construction combines ABS and polyethylene with a metal swivel handle, ball-bearing wheels, and stainless steel nut and bolt hardware, the ProVac 214 measures 24-3/4 inches long by 15 inches wide, and the head connects directly to a 1-1/2-inch vac hose swivel. The vacuum head ships with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
- Converging Suction Chamber Geometry: The patented suction chamber on the ProVac 214 concentrates vacuum velocity equally from both ends and front to back, producing meaningfully stronger debris pickup than typical vacuum heads, especially in low-flow conditions where conventional heads struggle to lift debris off the pool surface during commercial service routes.
- Bottom-Width Flex Strips Channel Debris: Flex strips running the full width of the head guide dirt, leaves, and fine particles directly into the suction chamber rather than allowing material to slide out under the edges of the brush line, supporting clean, consistent debris pickup with every cleaning pass across the pool floor.
- Lead-Weighted Vacuum Body: Strategically positioned lead weights keep the ProVac 214 firmly and evenly seated against the pool floor throughout the cleaning cycle, holding contact on rough concrete and textured plaster surfaces where lighter vacuum heads tend to ride up, skip, or lose suction effectiveness mid-pass.
- Tunable Wheel Height for Velocity Control: Every wheel on the ProVac 214 is adjustable to raise or lower the head's clearance off the pool floor, giving pool service professionals direct control over suction velocity for different debris types, pool surface roughness, and pump output levels — control that fixed-wheel vacuum heads simply do not offer.
- Built for Commercial Service Routes: A metal swivel snap adapter handle, ball-bearing wheels, and stainless steel nut and bolt hardware provide the long-term durability commercial service work demands, the ProVac 214 carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty, and the head is compatible with both 1-1/2-inch and 2-inch vac hoses for flexible installation on different pool plumbing setups.
