Instructions

Avoid pre-mixing this product; instead, add it directly to your pool or skimmer. Employ a clean, dry scoop exclusively for measuring, refraining from any other use. During evening hours with the filter pump in operation, apply the recommended dosage evenly across the deepest part of the pool. In case granules settle at the pool's bottom, disperse them using a brush.

• For Skimmer Application: Ensure the filter pump circulates through the skimmer, eliminating any chemicals or debris. Empty the skimmer before adding the product, taking precautions against potential explosions or the release of toxic gasses. Refrain from using this method with automatic dispensing devices present. Pour the product slowly into the skimmer, ensuring a steady draw into the system and preventing the accumulation of material to avoid generating toxic gasses.

• Water Balance Guidelines: To optimize product performance, ensure swimmer comfort, and achieve crystal-clear water, maintain a pH level between 7.2 to 7.6. Keep total alkalinity within the range of 60 to 120 ppm and calcium hardness above 200 ppm. Utilize a reliable test kit for accurate measurements. Refrain from entering the pool until the free available chlorine residual reaches 1-4 ppm.
• Shock Treatment/Super chlorination: Prioritize water balance and follow the instructions above before treatment. Shock treat or super chlorinate the pool every seven days or as needed to prevent issues. Add 10-20 ounces of the product per 10,000 gallons of water to attain 5 to 10 ppm available chlorine. Additional shock treatments may be necessary for visible algae, high bathing loads, wind, rainstorms, unpleasant odors, and eye irritation. Regularly check available chlorine levels with a suitable test kit.
