Other parts on the same Hayward AquaNaut 200 & 250 Cleaner
Engineered as a direct replacement for Hayward OEM part number PVX976PK2, the Swimables SW-61-976 is a 2-pack of wheel bearings built for Hayward AquaNaut, Phoenix, Poolvergnuegen, and Jacuzzi Tracker suction-side pool cleaners. Wheel bearings sit on both sides of each wheel and serve a quietly critical role on the cleaner — they enable the smooth, low-friction rotation that allows the unit to maneuver efficiently across pool floors, walls, and steps without dragging, wobbling, or stalling during the cleaning cycle. When wheel bearings wear or sustain damage, the cleaner loses its free-rolling motion, and the first symptoms show up as sluggish performance, incomplete pool coverage, and accelerated wear on adjacent drivetrain components that have to work harder to compensate. Installing the SW-61-976 restores smooth, consistent wheel rotation and helps extend the overall service life of the cleaner. Compatibility covers AquaNaut 200, 250, 400, and 450 cleaners, Phoenix 2-wheel and 4-wheel cleaners, Poolvergnuegen 2-wheel and 4-wheel cleaners, and Jacuzzi Tracker 2-wheel and 4-wheel suction-side pool cleaner models.
- OEM-Spec Wheel Bearing Replacement: The SW-61-976 bearings are dimensionally matched to OEM specifications for the wheel bearing position on Hayward AquaNaut 200, 250, 400, and 450, Phoenix, Poolvergnuegen, and Jacuzzi Tracker 2-wheel and 4-wheel suction-side pool cleaners, providing a precise, drop-in fit during routine wheel service work without modifications at the hub.
- Brings Back Smooth Cleaner Movement: With one bearing on each side of every wheel hub, these bearings remove the rolling resistance introduced by worn or damaged bearings and restore the cleaner's free, low-friction wheel motion, which is what keeps the unit tracking at the correct speed, covering the pool evenly, and maneuvering predictably across floor and wall transitions.
- Stops Wobble and Secondary Wear: Worn wheel bearings allow lateral play and wobble at the wheels, which loads up axles, wheel hubs, and adjacent drivetrain parts with stress they were not designed to absorb, and replacing those bearings with the SW-61-976 set early prevents that wobble from cascading into more expensive drivetrain failures down the line.
- Two Bearings for a Balanced Service: Each kit ships with two replacement bearings, enough hardware to service both sides of one wheel or to replace one bearing per side on two wheels at once, allowing the technician to keep rolling friction balanced across the wheel set instead of mixing fresh bearings with worn ones in the same drivetrain.
- Broad Cleaner Compatibility: Confirmed fitment across the full range of compatible Hayward and Jacuzzi cleaner platforms in both 2-wheel and 4-wheel configurations — AquaNaut 200, 250, 400, and 450, Phoenix, Poolvergnuegen, and Jacuzzi Tracker — makes the SW-61-976 one of the most universally useful wheel bearing replacements in the AquaNaut and Poolvergnuegen parts ecosystem.
