The Taylor Cyanuric Acid Reagent (R-0013-F) is a 32 oz (1 quart) solution designed for precise measurement of cyanuric acid levels in pool and spa water when used with compatible Taylor test kits. Monitoring cyanuric acid is crucial, as it stabilizes chlorine, enhancing its effectiveness and longevity in maintaining water sanitation. Proper storage between 36°F and 85°F (2°C–29°C) and away from direct sunlight preserves the reagent's effectiveness. Taylor formulates its reagents to remain effective for at least one year under appropriate storage conditions; therefore, regular replacement of reagents, ideally annually or at the start of a new testing season, is recommended to ensure accurate water chemistry readings.
